Janssens was very yummy! I will def go again when in that area.

We eat at Janssen’s Lakefront restaurant every single time we go to Greer’s Ferry lake, which is several times each summer., and have always looked forward to a great meal. We were there Friday night, May 17, and for the first time, the food was no good. We were very surprised because we have always enjoyed it. My rib-eye was cut very thin (less than 1/2”), over cooked and tough. I sent it back and the second one was the same. I just ate what I could. The baked potatoes were tough and cold. The best part of our meal was the salad bar, but it would be hard to mess that up. There were 4 of us in our party, and all 4 meals were sub par that night. We will try again and hope our meals are better next time.

Sunday breakfast brunch was great! I had biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, quiche, a Danish with coffee. I didn't get to try their made-to-order egg omelettes. Maybe next time. At 9:40 a.m. they were busy but I only had to wait a few minutes for a table.

Excellent food. Excellent service! Not an ordinary menu. Check out the 'specials' list for some fantastic options. Porck chop on a bed or red beans and rice with collard greens is a great example! Parking is limited. Expect a short wait. If you are lucky, great lake views too!

We absolutely loved this place. Recommended from a local! Food is Fabulous, Staff is Fabulous! Atmosphere is Fabulous! Prices are great! Will return when we go back to stay in the BEAUTIFUL Parks!

Don't order the chicken livers! Everything else was good.

Great atmosphere and staff really goes out of their way to be hospitable. Really good food!

Clean, fun little stop to grab a bite to eat! Pretty view of the lake as well. We found this restaurant the day before they closed for the season so we missed out on several dishes, but the remaining choices were plenty. Entire staff was super friendly and it seemed they had a lot of "regulars" who were stopping in one last time before they closed for winter. I'm eager to go back in spring...the cheesecakes looked amazing! :)

Great place great food excellent service. Anyone complaining about the wait should understand that wait times should be expected with a place that is popular. I would say this place is popular for a reason but I believe it is popular for a few reasons.

Super salty. Both of us left most of our food due to it being so salty it burned our mouth. The salad bar was good with good dressing selection. Many of the younger wait staff was surly. We heard them arguing because no one wanted to take another table because it seems they all "got the last table". Overall it wasn't a good experience. In this part of Arkansas our only choices were here, Subway or Sonic. Next time it will be Sonic.

I was really excited for some great food but was sadly disappointed in my fish. First time eating here and had heard really great things about the food. Maybe it was just this particular fish. I probably should have stuck with steak. The dessert however, was to die for!!! The pieces of cake took up a WHOLE To-Go plate! Phenomenal! The dessert is what made this a 4 star rating for me.

Nice small lakeside restaurant. Food was good but if you go in the summer months expect to wait over an hour for a table. Outdoor seating available....but during the pandemic if you have a group of 6 or more do us all a favor and don't put your name on the wait list and expect to sit together!

Excellent food for a small restaurant, beautiful lake views with friendly service.

My husband and I both had the tri tip with the Yukon potatoes and green beans it was amazing! The inside of the restaurant is closed but we sat out on the edge of the lake and watch the boats go by was one of the best Mother’s Day I’ve ever had!

We were referred by a local. The restaurant has a nice view. You would think maybe you would get some catfish and a sandwich. You probably wouldn't expect spicy catfish in Gouda grits with brussel sprouts. Each component in that dish was awesome. Even people that don't like brussel sprouts liked them. The salmon sandwich with sirachi slaw was great too. Topped it off with a biscotti cheesecake which my wife said was better than cheesecake factory. If you are in the area you should go to Janssens.

Food was amazing, as always! Staff are taking proper precautions to keep employees and customers safe. The boat dock was a perfect convenience and the short wait was worth the experience.

If you can never find a parking spot then you know the food is beyond good, so yes it is hard to find a parking spot, you might want to come by boat you can do that also

BEWARE... when you call they say dining is open along with curbside pick up and if you need if you need to speak to someone press one - after you press one it says that person is not available to take your call - so We drive over there with a mask on at 6:50 PM on a Saturday night August 1 and I ask to place an order to go and they immediately told me they are not taking to go orders. So explain to me How are you suppose to pick up a curbside pick up order when you can’t even place an order to go! This is the second time this has happened to me and my family!!! This is false advertisement and when they are only supposed to be working at 33% capacity I would really like to know whats the problem??? I can understand if they had run out of to go containers but no all we get is we are not taking orders to go period! We follow the rules/instructions with the mask and the curbside pick up and still have been refused twice!

Very good food. It is a very popular place so it's regular to wait 2-3 hours before you'll be served. Its very crowded and noisy. If you need personal space it's not something that I would recommend. If you don't mind the wait and Crowds it's got good of service as anyware else. A little understaffed but not bad service. I hear its popular for its veiw but I think it's advertised vs other places that are just as good that are not.

Great places to have lunch indoors or outdoors!! The staff are very friendly and the view of Greers Ferry Lake is outstanding!!

One of our absolutely favorite restaurants. Janssen's is a culinary delight, with amazing views of Greers Ferry Lake. Their nice wine list includes Rombauer Chardonnay. Deserts are huge and delicious.

Great food, great service. They were very busy but the service was still pretty fast.

The side salad and sweet tea was the only thing good today.

I wish I could rate lower than 1 srat. They were very rude one waitress "beth" even cursed at me. There is a pretty view but it is not worth it. It took them over an hour to seat us and the food is not very good along with being very expensive and over priced.

We had the southern fried chicken it was something you would get in a T.V. dinner..the chicken, mash potatoes, and green beans were horrible..My sister and I will not go back.

Very good eating place on the lake Gerrys Ferry had the prime rib sandwich.and chicken and rice soup. Good.. will be going back

Got a love a place were you can dock your boat and go get some food. We were told it would be an hour wait but only ended up being 20 mins. We ordered the bang bang shrimp appetizer (nice and spicy like I like them), we also ordered the prime rib special with the salad bar. Salad bar was nothing special but fresh. My prime rib was a little over cooked. I ordered medium but got medium well. It has good flavor and the mashed potatoes and green bean sides were good. We were so full that we had to take a piece of their famous pies and cakes with us for desert. The carrot cake was the only one left so we took it! Made the decision easier since we didn't want cheese cake that night. Let me tell you the carrot cake was amazing... I will go back just for that alone! (Sorry no pictures it was a midnight snack!)

Just know in advance that they will probably be busy so plan for a wait and enjoy the porch near the lake. There is a reason they stay busy and a nice variety of specials along with the regular menu quality is it. Great food.

We had an enjoyable meal. I had the cheeseburger in my wife had the blueberry pancakes. Both were excellent

The food was very good. The service was great. We dined inside one night and on the patio the next night. There is a boat dock where people can dock their boats while they eat.
